What Calculators Map is
Calculators Map is an independent collection of 1012 calculators across 22 categories. It covers mathematical relationships and practical estimates. It is a separate project from CalcBrit and is not affiliated with Omni Calculator.
Formulas you can inspect
Each calculator shows its formula, input units, illustrative values and limitations. Calculations happen in your browser using JavaScript number arithmetic. Most results display up to six decimal places; very small or large values use scientific notation.
Accuracy and verification
This release has automated checks for every calculator’s example inputs, separately specified example answers for the expansion models, selected legacy reference answers, invalid inputs, conversion round trips, calendar boundaries and internal links. These checks do not constitute a professional audit. Not every possible combination of inputs has been tested, and the tools have not been independently reviewed by a domain specialist.
Examples are assumptions
Interest rates, prices, efficiencies, material densities and emission factors shown as defaults are examples. They are not live market quotes, official local rates or forecasts. Change them to match your situation.
Global tools and local rules
The library focuses on broadly applicable formulas. Country-specific tax, benefit and legal tools require dated jurisdictional validation. The pregnancy and cycle calculators provide approximate calendar dates, cannot confirm pregnancy and must not be used for contraception. The currency converter offers manual rates and optional dated reference-rate lookups, which are not guaranteed transaction quotes. The adult body and energy tools are informational estimates with named methods and references; they do not diagnose conditions or prescribe intake or treatment. UK and US units are named explicitly where their definitions differ.
Sources and editorial approach
The catalogue is organised into 87 focused topic hubs, with contextual links between related calculations. The calculations and explanatory text are independently authored. Relevant scientific and conversion pages link to background reading from NIST and OpenStax. Those links do not mean that either organisation has reviewed or endorsed this website. There are no invented reviewer biographies, ratings or endorsements.
Growing the library
New calculators should solve a distinct problem, state their assumptions, include a worked example and pass meaningful numerical checks before they are added. Expanding coverage across engineering, education, specialist finance and other fields will require further content and validation.
Report a problem
When reporting an issue to the site owner, include the calculator URL, input values, expected result and the source of your expected answer. Do not include personal financial or other sensitive information.
